the ARTIST
STRAYDOG is a multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of digital culture, material contradiction, and narrative construction. Growing up in Miami, a city of extreme acceleration, relentless development, and its fragile proximity to the Everglades, STRAYDOG developed an early awareness of environmental precarity and the chaotic beauty of coastal life. As a lifelong windsurfer, the connection to wind, water, and shoreline remains an integral and spiritual undercurrent in their practice, informing the tactile approach to materials and their sensitivity to impermanence.

STRAYDOG was developed in Connecticut College, where he produced a hybrid practice in printmaking, painting, and resourceful material experimentation. Nothing was off his table including his DEATH. Now based in Miami working as a windsurf coach, STRAYDOG continues to bridge the gap between the digital and the physical, creating works that transform disposable fragments into tactile, narrative-rich objects grounded in memory, environment, and play.
